Abstract

Rebellion and political crime are common crimes against the government and political system. The concept of debt has an old history in jurisprudence literature. But political crime with almost the same meaning is a relatively new term that has been introduced in the subject law. In this article, the concept of sedition and political crime has been examined first from the point of view of jurisprudential and legal terminology. Then, the commonalities and advantages of these two terms are discussed and the commonalities and differences of the two terms are briefly mentioned. In spite of the many commonalities that sometimes make the similarity of these two terms in the two fields of jurisprudence and law, it must be said that political crime has a broader meaning in the field of jurisprudence than a crime in jurisprudence. Therefore, the relationship between the two general and specific is absolute.
