The role of seminaries in the style of peaceful coexistence among the followers of Islamic religions

Abstract

This article has been written using analytical-descriptive research method with the aim of explaining the function of seminaries and the style of peaceful coexistence among the followers of Islamic religions. In response to the question of what role do seminaries play as scientific, religious and educational centers in creating and maintaining a peaceful coexistence style among the followers of Islamic religions, it can be said: seminaries, in addition to pursuing scientific, religious and educational goals, by strengthening The approximate approach and emphasis on comparative studies can play an important role in the realization and continuation of the style of peaceful coexistence among the followers of Islamic religions. Seminaries also have important social functions. These functions can be classified in the role of social cohesion, cultural foundation of peaceful coexistence and fighting against factors of social conflict and militancy. After examining the position and functions of seminaries in the field of social life of Muslims, the author has come to the conclusion that the proper functioning of seminaries in the aforementioned areas can lead to the elimination of militancy, violence and differences among the followers of Islamic religions. Of course, as much as this role can be positive, it can also be destructive and violent. Because seminaries are responsible for educating people who are responsible for consolidating people's opinions and beliefs and guarding religious values ​​and norms on the one hand, and on the other hand they are responsible for regulating the social behavior of people in the society.
