Islamic lifestyle and its difference with Western lifestyle from the perspective of Ayatollah Khamenei

Abstract

Lifestyle is one of the important topics in sociology, educational sciences, ethics and even economics. They use the concept of lifestyle to explain social-cultural behaviors, which usually shows the complex reality of behaviors and even attitudes in society. Lifestyle is the real and main part of Islamic civilization, and the goal of Islam is to create a new Islamic civilization. The meaning of Islamic lifestyle is that kind of lifestyle that originates from the teachings of the Qur'an and hadiths. The purpose of this research is to express the differences between the Islamic and Western lifestyles, which is written with a descriptive-analytical method and in a library format. The results of this article show that the importance of thought and thought, faith in God and the unseen, knowledge and awareness of reality, paying attention to following the example of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) as perfect and infallible models, are among the advantages of the Islamic lifestyle compared to the Western lifestyle. These privileges can be seen in the Islamic lifestyle with cultural and behavioral parameters, in individual attributes, family and social relationships; Because all of these are based on faith and righteous deeds or the type of worldview of a Muslim, which is considered as the basic criterion of the Islamic lifestyle or Hayat Tayyaba.
